Beheaded Snake
Snakes are scary enough when they’re alive, but that’s not the only form you should fear them in. In fact, dead snakes can be equally as dangerous! That’s right – just because a snake appears to be seemingly dead doesn’t mean you can let your guard down. Have a look at this beheaded snake whose mutilated body part still continues to move even though the rest of its body is no longer attached to it. Did you know there was a chef in China trying to cook up a rare delicacy known as cobra soup when he was bitten by the decapitated head of the snake he had chopped up? As crazy and ironic as that sounds, that story is true. So yeah, you have good reason to fear these fanged creatures after their death as well!
Cooked Octopus Moving
Octopus has to be one of the most fascinating creatures known to man! Not only is it incredibly intelligent but the rest of its physiology is pretty interesting too. Did you know the arms of an octopus aren’t really controlled by its brain? Instead, each one of the tentacles has its own little neural network that handles movement! So as a result, an amputated octopus arm continues behaving in exactly the same way for up to an hour or so even after it has been cut off! There’s also a popular Korean dish that involves raw octopus so fresh that when served, you’ll see chopped tentacles still wriggling. Pair that up with some garlic and soy sauce and you have one of the most popular dishes in Asian cuisine!
