Visit to my Print Room and How to Fill and Prime Refillable ink carts for Epson 3800

Just wanted to show you guys my print room and my printers, Discuss a bit about refillables for the 3800, the chips, the pros and cons. My Modification for top filling of these carts so you never have to remove them from the printer.
Then I fill and prime one of the carts to demo how easy it is to do.
I am filling with a brand new K3 set of Dye inks from inkjet pioneer, Jon Cone,
I have tested these on an Epson R2400 with truly excellent result. Why use these dye inks on printers designed for pigment inks? The amazing Gloss and wider gamut than dye will provide. Great results on Gloss, Luster and Satin papers that simply can not be compared to even Epson OEM K3 inks. There will always be a trace of Gloss Differential on glossy printing papers with pigment inks unless the printer incorporates Gloss Optimizer as with the R800 / R1800 / R1900 and the new R2000. These inks are rated to not fade for at least 2 decades which is realistically more than enough life span if kept in an album or framed under glass.
Besides, I do have a 2nd 3800 loaded with Pigment K3 inks just for printing on art and matte papers not requiring gloss properties.
