Piers Morgan mocks Meghan's lacklustre book sales

Piers Morgan is mocking Meghan Markle's children's book 'The Bench' after it was labelled a "semi-literate vanity project" and failed to make Amazon's bestsellers list.

Piers Morgan tweeted to his 7.9 million followers: "unlike my latest book".

Meghan's debut book titled 'The Bench' tells the relationship between a father and son through the mother's eyes.

The book was released yesterday and has received mixed reviews with The London Telegraph calling it "the Duchess of Sussex's semi-literate vanity project".

The Times's arts editor Alex O'Connell said the story is "so lacking in action and jeopardy you half wonder if the writing job was delegated to a piece of furniture."
