Prince Harry and Meghan Markle know they are 'on the ropes' amid 'absurd' choice for baby name

Sky News host Alan Jones says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle know they “are on the ropes” with the United Kingdom and the Royal Family, amid the recent “absurd” name they chose for their new daughter.

“We all know by now that Harry and Meghan welcomed a baby daughter into their family this week, Lilibet Diana,” Mr Jones said.

“The name is absurd.

“This is sycophancy at its worst. It is also offensive”.

Lilibet is a family nickname used for the Queen.

"What on Earth were they thinking using such an intimate and personal family nickname," Mr Jones said.

"Is it just an exercise of two nobodies trying to stay relevant.

“Let me tell you something. It will take more than a baby name to make amends with the public and their family".
