FrSky R9M + Bluetooth + Android = Great Idea!

Everything is better with Bluetooth! Even FrSky R9M can be made better by connecting an HC-06 Bluetooth module to it and sending telemetry to an Android app. If TBS Crossfire can use Bluetooth, why R9M can't?

To make this work, you will need some "do it yourself" approach. SmartPort signal is inverted, so you will have to build an inverter with 10kOhm resistor and 2N7000 signal MOSFET. On top of that, you will have to buy and configure an HC-06 Bluetooth module.

It's fun, it's simple. A great thing for a weeked project. As a reward, you will be able to use Android "iNav SmartPort telemetry viewer and logger" app to see in a real time where you airplane or drone currently is! It works with INAV, Betaflight, Cleanflight and all other flight controllers with GPS and SmartPort telemetry! So should work with ArduPilot and Pixhawk too!
