‘Dumb Money’ movie premieres starring Seth Rogen
Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says the corporate regulator ASIC has taken an unusual interest in the new movie ‘Dumb Money’ starring Seth Rogen.
The film directed by Craig Gillespie is officially being released in Australia on Thursday.
“Avid watchers of this program will know we covered extensively the GameStop and AMC scandals,” Mr Greenwood said.
He said the phenomenon was full of memes-stocks, Reddit posts, soaring prices and giant stock market plunges.
“But it seems we’re not the only ones watching – we’re told the corporate regulator ASIC has taken an unusual interest in the movie Dumb Money.”
