MATERIALS:
Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas Brushes: 1/2 flat bristle (large), #8 round (medium), #1 round (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, deep yellow, burnt umber (brown), fluorescent purple, phthalo green
Other: chalk, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 1/2 inch bristle brush - Paint the background with black, brown and white
2. chalk - Draw outline of mask
3. #8 round brush - Paint base coat of face with brown and white
4. #8 round brush - Paint base coat of mask hat with yellow, purple and green
5. #8 round brush - Paint shadow under mask with black and brown
6. #1 round brush - Paint 1st layer of beads with yellow, purple and green
7. #8 round brush - Paint 2dn layer to mask hat with yellow, purple, green, brown and white
8. #1 round brush - Paint mask border with yellow and white
9. #1 round brush - Paint base coat of decorations with yellow, white, purple and green
10. #1 round brush - Paint glitter dots with yellow, green, purple, white, brown and black
11. #1 round brush - Finish decorations with white, black, brown, green, yellow and purple
12. #1 round brush - Paint bead shadows with black and brown
13. #1 round brush - Paint bead highlights with white, yellow, purple and green
14. #1 round brush - Sign with black
