Brushes: 1/2 inch flat bristle (large), #10 round synthetic (medium), #1 round synthetic (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, burnt umber (brown), green oxide, deep yellow, chrome yellow, chrome orange
Other: white chalk, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint background with black, green and white
2. chalk – Draw outline of book
3. #10 round brush – Paint base coat of book with green, orange, brown, black, deep yellow, white
4. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint background glow with deep yellow and white
5. #10 round brush – Paint tree trunk and branches with black, brown, orange, deep yellow, white
6. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint leaves on tree top and grass on top of book with orange, deep yellow, green and white
7. #1 round brush – Paint falling leaves with orange, deep yellow, white and black
8. #1 round brush - Finish detail on book with white, green, black, brown, orange and deep yellow
9. #1 round brush - Paint sparkle dots with chrome yellow and white
10. #1 round brush - Sign with black
