Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas Brushes: 1/2 inch flat bristle (large), #8 round synthetic brush (medium), #1 round synthetic (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, chrome yellow, burnt umber (brown), green oxide, fluorescent orange, ultramarine blue
Other: palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint the sky with blue, white, yellow and orange
2. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint the water with black, blue, white, yellow and orange
3. #8 round brush – Paint the sun with white, yellow and orange
4. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint the distant land with black, brown, green, yellow and white
5. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Finish main water area with black, brown, green, yellow, orange, blue and white
6. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint basecoat for marsh island with black and brown
7. #8 round brush – Paint 1st layer of boat with black
8. #8 round brush – Finish marsh island with brown, orange, yellow, green and white
9. #1 round brush – Paint 1st coat of people with black
10. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint sunbeams with white and yellow
11. #1 round brush – Paint fishing poles with black and white
12. #1 round brush – Finish people with blue, white, black, orange, yellow and rust (made in step 8)
13. #8 round brush – Finish boat with black, brown, green, orange, yellow and white
14. #8 round brush – Paint shadow and reflections of boat with white, black, brown, blue, green, orange and yellow
15. #1 round brush – Sign with black
