Don’t Break the Bank: Decoding Skin Care Product Ingredients to Save You Money

Are you overwhelmed by all of your choices at the store or online? Are you feeling bad for spending a ton of money on that moisturizer that you found out had the same active ingredients as the $10 moisturizers at Walmart? How do you save money and get your monthly product budget as low as a Netflix or Spotify subscription? It sure makes sense to invest your hard-earned money to achieve better, healthier skin in a smart way.
This may be my most helpful video yet as I want it to apply to the general population. These over-the-counter products are a good foundation but fine-tuning is necessary with your dermatologist and thus save your money for other great procedures like chemical peels, neurotoxins, lasers or fillers.
The skin care game is always changing and there are a lot of videos out there from non-dermatologists. I am going to breakdown the ingredients that I look for in a good cleanser or moisturizer. On Instagram, people have asked me why do I recommend the "cheap stuff?" Well it's because you do not have to pay a ton of money for the fancy bottle or box that it comes in! Invest your money in products with key ingredients like Ceramides, Hyaluronic acid (same sugar that we use in cosmetic fillers for the midface and lips that can cost hundreds of dollars for example) or Urea for dry cracked skin of the hands and feet.
