Making the Jane Bennet dress from Pride & Prejudice | Chemise and Open Robe Pattern

One of my favourite dresses from the Pride and Prejudice 2005 movie - the Jane Bennet Dress! ~swoon~ I have been in love with this dress.. forever. I have always wanted to sew it and in the words of Elle Woods, “We did it!!” Well, I did it. Move over Keira, there's Pikes afoot!

Just call me Mrs. Bingley ‘cause I got her dress! Ahh, it feels good - I am quite at my leisure!

Dress was made out of 2 queen flat sheets from a thrift store! When I have developed my sewing skills, I will be making this dress again with sturdier fabric.
