"Back To Basics" Two Week Update: 35 Pounds Down; We Chat About Mental Health, Weight Loss & More

It has been a little over two weeks since we started getting ourselves back on track. On December 1st, we started the newest part of our adventure. We like to call it “Back To Basics” because we have returned to the roots of what we were eating when we very first started losing weight on a whole food, plant-based diet. We’ve “thrown out” all of the fancy recipes (for NOW) and are just eating a rotation of simple basics that we know and love.

In today’s video, we give you an update on our weight loss so far and how we are doing mentally as we navigate this next chapter. Though we are still going strong with sticking to the diet, there will always be bumps in the road, especially when it comes to mental health. We share a few of the strategies that seem to work for us during these times.
