Lao Sausage | Sai Oua | Lao Food at Saeng’s Kitchen #laosausage #laofood
Sai Oua Lao sausage is packed with exciting flavors that no other sausage can compare to. It comes with all the essential Lao ingredients packed into fatty pork goodness. There will be blasts of lemongrass, galangal, and plenty of umami from the padaek. The process is a labor of love but once you finish, it will be well worth every bite. Deep frying the pieces will make it unstoppable.
Ingredients:
2 lb Ground pork
1 lb pork belly
1/4 cup Galangal minced
1/4 cup Lemongrass minced
3/4 cup shallot minced
1/2 cup green onion diced
1/2 cup cilantro diced
3/4 cup Sticky rice cooked
2 tbsp lime leaves minced
8 Garlic cloves minced
4 fresh bird eye chili minced
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp salt
½ tsp sugar
¼ tsp slack pepper
1 tbsp padaek
1 tbsp fish sauce
casing
Serve with ginger, peanuts, lettuce, and sticky rice
