Pelvic Dissociations | Learning Hip/Shoulder Separation
The ability to move the pelvis independently of the torso is a fundamental component of producing hip/shoulder separation and rotary power.

While it comes naturally to many, here's a basic drill regression for those who struggle to perform the action.

The idea is to learn to rotate the pelvis while holding the torso back, in as close to your hinge posture as possible.

Don't expect an immediate transfer to the mound - this is the first building block in a long sequence for those who struggle with pelvic/torso dissociation.

This version inspired by and very close to the @MyTPI movement screen. As far as I know they pioneered this idea in the golf world.
