Beginner Level - Plectrum Study #1

This piece is a pop punk style track that is a great workout for your plectrum technique. Learning this piece will encourage you to consider the correct application of down and upstrokes. Despite the quick tempo, you’ll hopefully find this piece easier to learn than it sounds.

I recorded this piece using a Fender Custom Shop ’67 Precision bass, recorded through a Tech21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI. Strings are Rotosound stainless steel, .040-.060-.080-.100.
