Growing Up in a West Virginia Coal Town in Appalachia: Premier, West Virginia in McDowell County
Growing Up in a West Virginia Coal Town in Appalachia: Mary Shandor - Premier, West Virginia in McDowell County
Mary Shandor (Martin) was born and raised in the West Virginia coal town of Premier. In this interview, she relays her experiences growing up in that environment. It was a bizarrely humid day which is why there's a haze over the screen that had to be wiped away in spots but Mary was such an interesting person that she outshines the difficulties in filming.
