Explaining the Metaverse: The Future of Virtual Reality.

We are witnessing a breakthrough in technology. Imagine a virtual world where people can socialize, work and play virtually. Well, it's becoming a reality which provides virtual access to the global arena of events. Alex Nasybullin is Cofounder of MetaVibes, a business working at the cutting edge of the metaverse, providing virtual access to a global arena of events. He was kind enough to join us for our latest episode of What’s Up! There are different types of virtual reality such as XR, extended reality. This allows people to mix worlds, to merge their real world with the ability to touch virtual objects. Examples are when users utilize virtual world devices such as Oculus. It is gamification. AR is Augmented Reality, some reality with some virtual, artificial objects with which one can interact. All very interesting for so many different events - whether sports matches or gaming.Touch is made possible by digitizing some objects, a perfect use case being the world of film. The metaverse will start becoming a reality very soon, as early as later this year. MetaVibes’ solution is for events - for both organizers and attendees. This innovation is not without its detractors though. Lots of people are nervous about new technologies and also there is the risk of some people becoming truly addicted to it. Some believe this reality should be banned as it will damage the ‘real’ world. At the end of the day though, you can’t blame the technology. It’s the users that need to have control and be mindful of perhaps spending too much time away from the real world…
