Five good reasons why - E3 2013 is going to be awesome

The E3 convention is something we look forward to every year but this year is going to be extra special. We give you five reasons why E3 2013 is going to be awesome!

5. New Wii U titles (Finally)

Nintendo won't have a big press conference this year but they do have smaller events that focus on software. That means we'll finally get to see some much needed new first party titles for the Wii U! We hope to get our hands on a new Zelda, Mario or even Super Smash Bros!

4. Lots of big games

There are going to be a lot of big games at E3 this year. We'll see Thief 4, Watch Dogs, Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag, Destiny, FIFA 14 and much, much more. It's going to be awesome!

3. Brand new IP's

E3 is known for surprises. And the launch of next generation consoles is great time for developers to role out some brand new franchises. We can't wait to see exciting new I.P.'s step out of the shadow and into the spotlight at this year's E3.

2. Debut of the Xbox One

Microsoft will get a second change to make us excited for the Xbox One after the pretty underwhelming hardware reveal last month. They have promised to show a lot of new games at the E3 which is a great first step. If they also clear up the confusion surrounding their used game policy we'll start loving the XBone again.

1. Debut of the PS4

We adored Sony's PlayStation 4 reveal event, despite not actually seeing the system. The focus on powerful hardware, games and indie developers shows Sony is putting the gamer first. At the E3 we'll finally be able to see what the new console looks like and hopefully play some awesome new games on it.
