Five Good Reasons Why - 2015 will be awesome for gamers

With the year being almost over we can't wait to see what awesome video games are coming to us in the next twelve months. And of course we shouldn't forget about the hardware either. These are five good reasons to get excited about gaming in 2015!

#1 – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is such a promising open world role playing game that it almost feels too good to be true. But we are truly excited about this game. Not because the first two editions of the Witchers were flawless, but because the developers of this game clearly learned along the way and have epic ambitions for The Witcher 3.

#2 – Playstation Now

We are pretty sure Playstation Now won't be available in every country next year, but this is a service that certainly has our interest. Streaming games instead of physically buying them or having to wait to download them, sure sounds like the future. It will start with Playstation 3 games but likely older and newer Playstation games will follow. Playstation Now is like Netflix for video games, and we all like Netflix don't we?

#3 – Big releases

Next year a lot of big franchises are coming out with new games. 2015 will mark the release of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and Nintendo will launch the new The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U. And lets not forget about Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Silent Hills and Uncharted 4!

#4 – A new trend in online multiplayer

One versus four is going to be a big new part of online multiplayer gaming next year. In Evolve one player plays a monster that needs to be killed and in Fable Legends one person plays a villain. Both “evil” characters compete with four other players for victory. Even Bioware is working on a 4 versus 1 game, called Shadow Realms!

#5 – Virtual Reality

Sure, many people already own a virtual reality Oculus Rift headset, but in 2015 these devices will finally become widely available. We are not sure whether these Virtual Reality headsets are coming to a store near you, but it will be a lot easier to pick up one of these beauties!. We can't wait to fully dive into the world of VR next year!
