Google Dialer - Enable Call Recording with an LSPosed Module

Even if your local laws allows you to record phone calls, the Google Dialer application will block this feature for certain regions. So in today's video I want to show you an LSPosed Framework module that will add a record button to Google Dialer.

Before you install and use this module, though, I must recommend that you be fully aware of the laws for where you live. I'm not making this video to help people break these laws. Instead, I'm only providing this information for those who want to add this feature in a lawful way.

For this to work, you must have LSPosed Framework installed and activated. If this is something you haven't done, or maybe you're not aware of how to set it up, then be sure to check the video description below as I'll have a link to a video showing you all of the steps involved.

You also need to have the Google Dialer app installed on your device. So if you don't have it yet, download it from the Google Play Store and then open it up so that you can set it as your default phone application.

When you open up the LSPosed Framework application, it needs to say Activated in this top card right here.

To begin the installation, we first need to tap on the Repository tab down here at the bottom left.
Then you should just need to search for the word Call from the box up at the top.
Look for the Call Recording module and then select it.

Now you want to tap on the Releases section up here at the top and then tap the Assets button for the latest version of the module.
Tap the APK file that appears here so you can download the file
Then open it up when the download has finished

This will install the APK file for the LSPosed module but it won't actually appear as an application icon.
Instead, this is installed as a module only, and there aren't any settings or anything to configure.

We will need to enable the LSPosed module, though. So let's tap the tab down here
Then tap on Call Recording
And enable the module from the toggle right here

We then need to reboot our smartphone so that the module can be activated properly.

When the smartphone boots back up, go back to the LSPosed Manager application so you can check to make sure the Call Recording module has been activated.

Now, open up your Google Dialer app and place a call to someone
I don't have a SIM installed here, so the call won't actually be completed, but you can see there's a Record button right here now

This button does not appear when the module is not installed and activated.

So while your phone call is happening, you can begin recording it by simply tapping the Record button from this menu.

Again, I have to remind you to make sure to study up your local laws before using a LSPosed Module like this.
Some places are okay with just one person on the phone being aware that it is being recorded.
Other locations will require you to tell the other person on the call that it is being recorded.

Be aware of what is allowed in your area so you aren't doing anything illegal.
