How To Make Baked Mustard Chicken With Vegetables - Simple Homemade Recipe Tutorial

Sour Cream Dijon Chicken Breasts with vegetables. This is a family favorite of ours, and I also serve it to company. You can use any vegetables: zucchini, cauliflower, tomatoes, and others. I like baked chicken fillet with apple, green cabbage, carrots and onions in sour cream and dijon mustard.

Ingredients

2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 medium head green cabbage, cut into 1-inch-thic slices
2 medium carrots, cut into batons
1-2 medium onions, cut
1 apple, cut
1 tablespoon (heaping) sour cream
2 tablespoons (heaping) dijon mustard
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/3 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Pepper, to taste
Salt, to taste
Dried basil and rosemary, to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F/180 C.
2. Marinade for chicken.
Combine 1 tablespoon (heaping) sour cream, 1 tablespoon (heaping) dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon curry powder, 1/3 teaspoon salt, black pepper (to taste). Pour over chicken.
3. Peel and cut apple, green cabbage and others vegetables. Combine 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon (heaping) dijon mustard. Pour over vegetables. Add pepper and salt, to taste.
4. Place vegetables on a foil-lined and lay the chicken breasts on top. Add salt, pepper, dried basil and rosemary, to taste. Then lubricate all remnants of the marinade for chicken.
5. Bake in a preheated oven to 350 F/180 C for 40-50 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
