This apple cake is just that. I made this cake a few days ago and it is so good. There’s nothing overly fussy or complicated about this recipe and it’s super delicious.

Ingredients

3 eggs
100 grams sugar
10 grams vanilla sugar or 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
70 grams butter, melted (or vegetable oil)
120 grams flour
60 grams potato starch
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 apples

Directions

Preheat oven to 350F/180C.
In a medium bowl, beat lightly eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar. Add butter and mix well.
Add flour, potato starch, baking powder. Mix until just incorporated.
Peel, core and cut the apples into thin slices.
Pour batter in a prepared pan and decorate with the sliced apples.
Bake in a preheated oven to 350F/180C for 30-35 minutes.
Using a toothpick inserted in the center to test for doneness.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving (optional).
Decorate with berries or fruit (optional).
