Jak 3: Part 44: Breaking Into the Metal Head Nest

Back at Freedom League HQ, Ashelin was getting more and more worried about Errol's control of the Dark Maker ship. She planned the start of a goal to take it down.

When her plan had Torn and Jinx at the forefront, Daxter got absolutely flabbergasted that he and Jak, the protagonists of this franchise, were getting sidelined in this perilous mission for a couple of NPCs (basically).

But when Daxter finally gave Ashelin to speak up, it turned out that he and Jak ARE on the mission after all. They are to escort Torn and Jinx with the Eco explosives that stole for her earlier towards the Metal Head section of the city to blow up the entrance into the nest.

She didn't mention it, but Sig will also be here for help.

This is an automatic course. You need to protect both Torn and yourself against the hordes of Metal Heads and KG Bots on your way to the Metal Head area with a Freedom League Hellcat.

At times, you will encounter some glowing barrels. Shoot them up and watch the fireworks take down the enemies for you!

Sometimes you will have to take down some heat-seeking missiles, too!

At the end of this mission, Torn will ram his cargo into the Metal Head nest entrance to blow it open.

As a reward for accomplishing this mission, Sig gives Jak his 3rd Dark Eco Morph Gun weapon and the final Morph Gun mod in the game: The Supernova!

The Supernova is the Alpha-Omega of Morph Gun mods. Unleash one reckoning of it, and will kill EVERYTHING around you. The blast is so powerful that it makes the screen go white AND kills the music for a few seconds!

Within the Metal Head nest, itself, you're gonna instead find a lot of Dark creatures crawling around here. You will often have to kill groups of them before you can go higher up the nest. Use whatever you want, from the Morph Gun, to Dark Eco, to Light Eco, to get this job done.

At the very top, Jak & Daxter reach Cyber-Errol once more. By this point, he has fully awakened the Dark Maker ship, and plans to use its secrets to wield the power of the Precursors, themselves.

He takes a portal to reach that ship, while Sig was able to help Jak & Daxter escape after they took the final Dark Eco Crystal that powered the portal... and the rest of the Metal Head nest, itself.

After returning to North Town, it's time to visit Onin & Pecker at the hut. Because of the city's destruction, they had to move their hut next to one of Haven Prison's walls.
