Jupiter and the beginning of the transit of Io through a 10 inch (254 mm) Orion xt10i dobsonian telescope on the 17th September 2022 at 00h18 UTC above Fish Hoek (Cape Town).

A video of Jupiter and Io (including Io's shadow) drifting across the field of view via a 10mm Orion Sirius Plossl eyepiece and an Orion Shorty 2x Barlow Lens followed by the final processed image.
