How to care for and restore a closed terrarium

This is the update on the Planted jar terrarium build from October 2020.
This was also one of my failed terrariums that had to be rebuilt after 6 months. I am including the links to both the videos below (the original build and the rebuild)

However it needed one more rebuild 3 months later which was not filmed. I attributed the failures to a rubber gasket on the lid that was getting moldy very fast so I decided to remove the rubber gasket altogether post which the terrarium has been doing very well.

In this video I have demonstrated how I go about a care and look restoration work on an old and overgrown terrarium. I did an overall trimming of plants and moss. I added some fresh moss and topped up the sand pathway with some lava rocks. I also added some small plant to enhance the scape. Here is a list of all the plants in this closed terrarium:

Moss
Pellionia repens
Ficus pumila
Bolbitis difformis
Staurogyne repens
Fittonia green

The terrarium is also home to some springtails and a few dwarf isopods.
