Tearing down a 3 year old terrarium ecosystem and rescaping it

Sometimes a terrarium after a few years gets out of control and does not look tasteful anymore. In such circumstances, I usually tear it down and go for a full rescape even though the terrarium is in very good health. The entire tearing down process can be sad and depressing but the joy that comes from creating a new scape almost always offsets the feelings.
Here is one such case. A build from more than 3 years ago when I did not even have this channel. I undertook this teardown and rescaping over a few cups of tea. Quite happy with the outcome. I also experimented with an Utricularia graminifolia ground cover this time. Lets find out how this one does in the long run.
