Miniature terrarium with aquatic plants
A miniature terrarium built with aquatic plants in a tiny cork lid bottle.
Its actually much easier to make a terrarium with aquatic plants than making one with terrestrial plants.
For terrestrial plants one would need to create a false bottom/water reservoir to ensure the soil above it remains relatively less moist to prevent root rot. however for aquatic plants the substrate needs to be wet all the time. Hence the terrarium can be built using only aquasoil for substrate. However one must ensure that only aquatic plants being grown in emersed (out of water) state are used for such terrarium builts.
Plants used:-
1. Hydrocotyle tripartita mini
2. Flame moss
3. Riccardia Chamedryfolia
Soil used :-
ADA Amazonia aquasoil
Hardscape :-
Malaysian driftwood piece and gravel
