Ikea Glass Dome Terrascape (scaped terrarium build)

I used an Ikea glass dome for this project. I used the reverse side of the base since it was plastic. The dome top also sat on the reverse side of the base without any problems. I did not want to use the metal side as it would come in contact with moisture.
I used lava rocks and driftwood to create a hardscape on a food container lid to make things easy . I used hardscape glue to join the pieces of rock and wood. I also used detailing wood to create some fine details.
I applied silicone sealant on the base of the hardscape and glued it to the food container lid so that it would not move.
Next I proceeded to mix dry Sphagnum moss, aquasoil powder and water to prepare a dough. I covered the base and the crevices and gaps in the hardsacpe with the dough and covered it with moss. (I used Fissidens terrestrial and Leucobryum glaucum moss for this)
Next I proeeded with planting the scape with Anubias nana petite, Peperomia prostrata and Selaginella Uncinata plants. Finally I gave the terrascape a thorough misting, placed it on the base plate and covered it with the glass dome top.
