Basic Python-Based DICOM Image Manipulation & Annotation Tool (15-112 Term Project)

I completed this term project for the 15-112 course at Carnegie Mellon University during the Spring 2018 semester. This tool allows for the user to view DICOM image files (the medical standard image file for things like MRI,CT, and PET scans). By making simple image adjustments, one could possibly distinguish possible abnormalities or malignancies in the scan. This program could also be used an a teaching tool for medical imaging technologists and radiology residents. Users have the option of saving annotations with their comments and comparing two different slices of an image as well. Further development would involve using openCV to detect possible tumors with object alignment & detection algorithms.
