Docker and Web 3.0 — Using Docker to Utilize Decentralized Infrastructure & Build Decentralized App

Join Storj and learn how to use Docker for decentralized infrastructure to power your web3 dApps. Get started with Docker and follow along → https://dockr.ly/3QqFtmJ While there’s certainly a lot of hype in the Web 3.0 space, there's also a rapidly growing list of enterprise-grade decentralized applications — and a growing list of enterprise-grade decentralized IaaS alternatives to centralized cloud providers. In many ways, Docker provides the bridge between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. In this talk, we’ll start with a brief overview of Web 3.0. Then we’ll demonstrate how to: a) Deploy "traditional" Docker applications on decentralized infrastructure, b) Use Docker to create and deploy decentralized applications, and c) Use decentralized infrastructure in conjunction with tools such as Docker Registry, Docker Volumes, and Docker Content Addressable Storage. • Speakers : - JT Olio, CTO at Storj Labs - Marton Elek, Principal Software Engineer at Storj Labs - Krista Spriggs, Head of Infrastructure at Storj Labs • References : - Find out more about Storj → https://www.storj.io/ - Container Storage Interface (CSI) for S3 from the demo → https://github.com/ctrox/csi-s3 - Dig into decentralized storage with this blog → https://dockr.ly/3xYX51Z -- Join the conversation!
