Chula Vista: Death Investigation 06292024

DETAILS:

A man was out for his morning walk in the park, and as he approached a small amphitheater area, he saw a male who appeared to be sleeping.
As he got closer, he realized something was wrong and discovered that the male was bleeding from the head and not moving.

911 was called, and the Police discovered the male had been shot in the head. The Firefighters arrived and declared the male to be deceased. The incident is under investigation.

It’s currently not known if this is a homicide or a suicide and the Police will wait for the County Medical Examiner to arrive to make a determination.
