Carving kuksa - The second life of a tree

To make a mug, I use a straight-layered raw birch. In this video, I use only a hand tool, with the exception of a chainsaw. A chainsaw helps to use wood more efficiently, since when splitting a log, it may split incorrectly due to twisted fibers. I use a semicircular chisel, a hook knife, an axe, a knife. After making, the raw mug must be wrapped in rags or put in sawdust and dried for about a month.
