First "Real" Passenger!

Well almost exactly 1 year after I started my flight training in December of 2011, I passed my checkride on 12/27/2012 and got my Private Pilot Certificate!! Today I finally got a chance to take my first "real" passenger up with me. My wife, who's afraid/nervous of flying, decided to give it a try. I picked a good weather day for a nervous flyer & up we went. She did GREAT and once we got off the ground & above some minor turbulence she really enjoyed it.

We flew from Milwaukee Timmerman field (KMWC) up to Sheboygan (KSBM) then southwest towards West Bend (KETB) and back to Timmerman. A nice 45 minute sightseeing flight. So nice to fly with someone other than my CFI (no offense Dan!) or examiner (you too Chris). Landing was probably one of my best ones. Neither of us felt the wheels touching the ground so that was good for her. I think she's hooked now. Once we got home she was asking about what places we can fly to as a family & even said "we should buy a used plane". If she only knew what buying/maintaining an airplane really entailed she would take that back!
