Bauen 4.0: What happens in the joint research project
The construction site of the future is the focus of the joint research project "Bauen 4.0". It is characterized by end-to-end, cross-interface digitization from construction planning and site logistics to networking technologies and the implementation of various automation levels on the machines. Compared to today, this enables considerable increases in productivity and efficiency to be achieved. The joint project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within the framework of the call "Industry 4.0 - Collaborations in dynamic value-added networks (InKoWe)". Coordinated by the TU Dresden - Chair of Fluid-Mechatronic Systems, a total of 30 project partners will work for three years to develop innovative, powerful and flexible machine and communication technologies.
