What trends and long-term developments are shaping the international cutting-edge research of our time? What are the social, political and economic conditions driving science policy and research practice? How does scientific knowledge impact our society? These questions form the starting point for the "Frontiers in Science" lecture series at TU Dresden. As part of the newly created lecture series, TU Dresden invites internationally renowned researchers with outstanding expertise to give a lecture once every semester. The series aims at taking up current trends and questions from the field of international cutting-edge research and conveying them to a broad, multidisciplinary audience within the university.
