Upper Kitchen Cabinets & Dish Rack + Tiny-Tour of Skoolie Kitchen!

Installing upper kitchen cabinets in a Skoolie was a challenge, but Mike accomplished it, complete with a space-saving dish rack above the kitchen sink! We also stained and finished our walls, counter top and cutting board. For the dish rack we used a 3ft section of shelving we found at Walmart, in the Home department, near laundry-room items (it was $12). It was a the perfect width at 12 inches, and we cut off about 4 inches of length for a perfect fit above our sink. We finished our butcher block counter tops with 4 layers of Tung oil, for a smooth and slightly glossy finish.
In the kitchen tour segment (18:34), I forgot to mention the faucet; we stumbled across the last one left on sale for $79 at Lowes. I also accidentally skipped the tower of four drawers between the refrigerator and stove ~ did you notice that the top one had it's front piece attached?

Hi! We are Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1996 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty.
We're building a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible!
