Trenching for an electrical job.
Hello, the Odd Job Do’er here to talk about trenches. So not excited I know but it has to be done. In getting ready to run 100Amp service to a garage one of the labor part is the trench that the electric will be buried in check the code books but I think around here it needs to be 18 “or 20” deep. I’ll be doing it by hand and it will take some time to finish and a full video of the trenching would be too long and boring to view…. Unless I passed out from not keeping my water intake up because it is getting hot here. I passed on the idea of using a power trencher because I really do not know what is under the ground where I am digging at and have found some old water lines in the way that a trencher might cut through and some bricks in the way that might have broken a trencher Soooo a digging I’ll be agoing.
