Hitting Firewood Pile with Tractor Snowblower

Another snowstorm has come and gone and now I'm cleaning up with my 2012 Kioti DK40se hst and 72" MK Martin Meteor snowblower. I can't say it's never happened but hitting the firewood pile with tractor snowblower is not convenient especially when I'm down to 1 last shear pin. Watch as I show you exactly what happens when you hit something unexpectedly with your snowblower and a shear pins breaks. You can also watch this video as I explain how to replace a shear pin on a mk martin snowblower. Despite the mishap, I get the job down out there today with the freshly fallen 8 or 10" of snow. The wind sure was blowing today as you'll see and that really made the cabin worth having. I'm also interested to hear from you folks out there as to whether you engage the PTO at full engine RMP or whether you idle down, engage the PTO, then rev the engine back up like I do?
