The Ethics of True Crime | A Video Essay

NOTE: For the introduction, I had the theme song from Love & Death playing as the title came up on screen and it worked so WELL I was so proud of it, but youtube would NOT let it through I tried like 4 different iterations, so please just use your imagination to see my vision. Maybe if I make a patr**n or something I'll put the videos with all the stuff that had to be edited out for dumb reasons on there.
Also also I'm working on the closed-captioning right now so that should be up soon.

Hiiii I’m alive. This video did NOT actually take like 7 months to make, 2 months max, but my youtube channel required like some kind of.. ID verification? And I gave them the wrong ID and it took 6 months to resubmit it so I had to wait till that got fixed basically. I would’ve just kept uploading since I was still working on videos but it seemed like the minute the ID thing didn’t work all my videos stopped showing up in recommendations or feeds or anything, and I’ve been working really hard on them so idk I didn’t really wanna risk it, although I know now the algorithm is gonna be mad at me anyway for not uploading for so long, so it really makes no difference either way, but it’s fine I made a decision myself, I’ll live with the consequences whatever they end up being.
