Is CITIZEN KANE even good, really? | Video Essay + Summary

Me attempting an objective analysis of Citizen Kane and trying to justify reading an entire book on one of the only movies that had me falling asleep in a movie theater.
Jokes aside I've watched it multiple times since then though, I don't hate it at all I promise it very much grew on me. I just try not to watch it when I'm sleep deprived. I also highly highly HIGHLY recommend the criterion collection of this because it has running commentary from multiple people, and one of them is Roger Ebert and it's like watching a whole other movie it's so fun.

Next video is gonna be on Dahmer, it should be up in a week and a half, on Sunday! (I have a hard time sticking to a schedule but I'm very determined to make this 'uploading on Sundays' thing work.)
And there's a manga / anime analysis one coming right after that I promise I just need to do my research on that and figure out if my thesis carries any weight first
