In 2010 famed Toronto city councilman was elected mayor of the city. He was a populist, with conservative ideals and was generally well-liked. That said, he had his fair share of detractors, especially in the media. In 2013 Gawker and the Toronto Star would shock the city with claims that they had witnessed a video showcasing the mayor smoking crack. Rob would initially deny these allegations, calling them nothing more than a pathetic smear attempt.
