Desastre Mental is the 4th album by Herva Doce (RCA Ariola) and it was a critics acclaimed release. After the smash hit “Amante Profissional” this album was a shocker for fans and radio stations.
The change of sound and lyrics was considered “too much” for radio stations that wanted the next “Amante Profissional” which the band was not willing to pursue.
Herva Doce is considered by many the best Hard Rock Band in Brazil.

Herva Doce was chosen by KISS staff members to be the opening act for famous KISS monster show in 1983 at the Maracanã stadium in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The crowd at the event was estimated as over 110,000 fans.
The band also Opened for Van Halen in Rio de Janeiro at the Ginásio do Maracanãzinho for 20,000 fans.
