Having Bad Taste

The plaintiff says he rented an apartment to the plaintiff, who he claims painted the walls bold, crazy colors. He says he was forced to spend an extra amount to have them repainted, so he’s suing for the cost. The defendant says she lived there for 13 years and was a good tenant. She insists she shouldn’t have to pay for repainting, and she’s countersuing for a return of her security and an electric bill refund.
