Great Osobor (Utah State)
6-8 250 lbs
1 year of eligibility remaining
Averaged 17 PPG, 9 RPG and 2.8 APG while averaging over 2.5 blks/stls
Scheduled to visit Texas Tech May 4th-6th
This is the big fish for the Red Raiders… Period
Osobor is a legit difference maker and elevator of a program
Great will visit Kentucky, Louisville, Washington and Texas Tech
He is ranked as the 4th best player in the portal according to The Athletic
A dominant player around the rim (86% of his FGA at the rim)
Can finish with power or finesse around the rim with either hand
Uses his frame and footwork to position himself for success in the paint
Ranks in the 70th percentile nationally on Post-Up’s
He is a legit problem on the board for opposing defenses (10.1% O Board rate)
An excellent patient passer (16% assist rate)
On the defensive end he has a 4.9% block rate

RC’s Take: This is EASILY the top priority for Texas Tech in the portal and likely will be for this portal cycle. Great is an instant All-Big 12 type big that would change the entire complexity of the Red Raider front court for the better. He will want a sizable NIL bag and rightfully so, he’s arguably the best big in the portal.

He’s a Mansfield, TX native
Uber athletic wing that is extremely versatile
Can get to the rim and finish with either hand
Ranked in the 68th percentile nationally in spot-up opportunities
66th percentile in transition (very good)
62nd percentile in P&R Ball Handler situations (very good)
Excellent catch-and-shoot guy ranking 92nd percentile nationally
Not a good shooter off the dribble (6th percentile nationally)
Underrated passer (very patient)
A solid defender that can guard 1 thru 3 and even smaller 4’s
Active and quick hands

RC’s Take: He’s an extremely interesting target and one that would be a high-level add if he were to commit to Texas Tech. He’s a guy that could see in a Davion Warren type role for the Red Raiders and Grant McCasland
