Aid trucks enter Gaza for first time in months | No Ukraine ceasefire agreed in Trump-Putin call

Humanitarian aid has begun trickling into Gaza after Israel announced it would allow limited amounts to enter the Strip. The IDF has stepped up its campaign in northern and southern Gaza, ordering residents in Khan Younis to evacuate to the coast immediately, as it plans to launch what it's calling an “unprecedented attack”.

US President Donald Trump says Ukraine and Russia will start ceasefire negotiations immediately. Mr Trump had a two-hour phone call with his Russian counterpart, Vladmir Putin. He also held calls with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and some of his allies.

The World Health Organization is expected to adopt a landmark agreement on tackling future pandemics. It aims to prevent the kind of international chaos and disjointed response during the COVID-19 outbreak.
