Hey guys, imagine having your very own private streaming service, completely under your control, with no monthly fees, accessible from anywhere in the world, and syncing throughout different devices. Today, we're going to build exactly that. You only need a Raspberry Pi, and then we will be transforming it into the ultimate media center/torrentbox hooked up to your television! And when I say ultimate, I mean it. This will be the only tutorial you will ever need. We're going to set up Jellyfin as the central brain to organize our library and manage all the metadata of the content that we have on our external hard drive. We'll build a secure fortress by running qBitorrent inside an isolated VPN container for completely safe, private, automated downloads with two built-in kill switches. On the big screen we will deploy Kodi for a premium cinematic interface, while setting up Tailscale and Infuse so you can stream seamlessly to your smartphone when you are away from home. And the best part, it's all connected. Watch a movie on your television, pause it, and pick up exactly where you left on your smartphone when you're somewhere else. It also supports separate profiles for the whole family, maybe some friends also. and everything stays perfectly in sync. Now, this sounds too good to be true and of course extremely complicated - and basically it is. But don't worry, I'm going to guide you through this process literally step by step. We are starting right here with the unboxing of the Raspberry Pi starter kit and I'm going to show you all the way to a fully finished setup. Plus, I've created a dedicated web page where you can simply copy and paste every single command I use in this video. If you even never touched a Raspberry Pi before, you are in the right place!
