In this video, I'm going to show you a really promising, flexible pricing system for WooCommerce that I have never seen before. If you want to check out this tool, go to https://wp.discount/flexpricing/ This link is also in the comment section and in the description of this video. Then we are at the website of FlexPricing. Immediately you can see some examples of the tool. If you scroll down you can see that they want to solve the biggest problem in e-commerce, which is pricing. Different pricing for different states. Well, I'm very interested in this, so we're going to try this out. First we click over here on 'Get started'. Then we need to sign up with this system because it works with an API connected to your store. So that's pretty interesting. And after that, we press on 'Sign up'. Verify our email address. And then we press on 'Confirm'. All right, then we need to sign in. And then we are at the dashboard of Flex Pricing. This is the place where we can create all the dynamic rules for our website. The first thing we need to do is we need to connect our website. So we press on 'Connect a store'. Press over here to download the plugin. Then scroll a little bit down and copy the API key. Press over here to copy it on your clipboard. Log into your WordPress website. If you're still logging in using /wp-admin/ That's not a very safe way, so follow my tutorial over here, and I'll show you exactly how not to get hacked. Then on your dashboard we go over here to 'Plugins' - 'Add new plugin'. And press on 'Upload plugin' over there. And we're just going to select the file we've just downloaded from FlexPricing. and then we press on 'Install Now'. All right then we press on 'Activate plugin'. Then we go over here to 'Settings' of FlexPricing. Then we fill in our API key, paste it in and press 'Save changes'. Well done. If we now press on 'Test connection'. You can see that we have been successfully connected with Flex pricing. And then we have to wait 30 minutes for product catalog to import into FlexPricing. If we then go to our dashboard, you can see that indeed none of the products has been imported yet from our web shop. While we wait, I can show you how you can set pricing rules for your store. If you go over you to pre-made pricing rules, you get an idea of what is possible. For example, income based rules, shipping distance based rules, inventory, device, ToD, State CPI. All these things can be enabled through your website, but there is way more. If we go over here to pricing rules, you can configure it manually. So press on 'Create' over here. Just give it a name and a description and then we press on 'Create'. Basically the pricing rules are just conditional logic. So if - estimated income of user, operating system, distance, state user, zip code, units remain, date month, days time or holiday - then follows this rule. Its really easy to do so. So let's start with the state user is in not one of my state - I'm in Nevada. I'm not the Nevada. Then increase the price by 10%. There we go. Then we press 'Save', Save again. Our pricing rule has been updated. It would be great if you from here you can add in another rule, but we can't.
