Kimai:
RECIPES
SMOOTHIE BOWL:
1 frozen ripe bananas
2 scoops of Form Nutrition Vanilla protein
¼ courgette or cucumber
handful of frozen kale
scoop of nut butter (optional)
dash of water of plant milk
salt (to taste)
METHOD:
1. Pop all of the ingredients into a NutriBullet or blender
2. Blend for about a minute. The mixture should be thick
3. Tip the mixture into a bowl
4. Garnish with any toppings you fancy. I like fresh fruit, almond butter, buckwheat groats, dried mulberries and an extra pinch of salt.
TEMPEH
1.5 tbsp tamari (soy sauce is fine)
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp balsamic vinegar (or liquid smoke if you have it)
1/2 tsp sesame oil
juice of half lime
Marinade the tempeh in the above ingredients for a minimum of 10 minutes. Add a little oil to a pan on a medium heat. Cook the tempeh for 4-5 minutes either side, pouring over excess marinade at the end of the cooking process if you have any spare.
