Analog Input on the Raspberry Pi || Analog sensor value plot using MCP3204
This video explains how to take analog reading using the Raspberry Pi and the Analog to Digital converter IC MCP3204. Since the raspberry pi does not have a dedicated ADC hardware, it becomes difficult to directly acquire the data of an analog sensor to the Pi.We can use the Arduino connected to the raspberry Pi for the purpose but that adds to more hardware being used in the process.
This project shows an alternative approach to get raw sensor data and use them on the Pi for data analysis, storage and other utilities.
