The Rolls Royce Crecy Engine Vid1

Zontaars has discovered another engine he likes, the WW2 era Rolls Royce Crecy.
This is a V12 aircraft engine that was a Supercharged 2 stroke, sleeve valve, with direct gasoline injection into the cylinder. It also utilized the stratified charge idea, and also was made with a turbo geared back to the crankshaft.
The book shown reveals many fascinating details of its unique construction, and history!
Unfortunately all 6 full sized running Crecy engines were destroyed when the test program ended in the late 1940s. The Crecy V12 underwent many hours on the test bed, it sure would be nice if any video existed so we could all hear its unique defening sound!!!
Trust me, this is one book worth getting, I am glad I did!
